Favourite quince. This time baked

Something just attracts me in them. I like the taste, shape, colour...They are romantic, in a way, I would say.
Unfortunately can not be really eaten raw, so it just forces me to look for ideas how to cook them next time.
This is my version of baking them (there are quite mane ways, of course).

I took:
2 large fruits
apr. 2tb.s. honey
4-5 dried figs
apr. 15-20 hazelnuts
2-3tb.s. melted butter
cinnamon
1+1 cup water
ap. 20ml alcohol (i added gin, but cognac or rum, maybe would be nice)

Cut very carefully quinces into halves or 4 pieces in my case, remove the core, and put them in a baking form. On each piece put figs, nuts and mixture of other ingredients. Add 1 cup water to the form. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 180C. Check, add another cup water, if needed and leave for one more hour.
To my taste they are best served with thick yoghurt. You can think of icecream or anything you like them with.
