Winter breakfast- scones

I was thinking what to make out of oats that I have never made before...browsing through internet I found these pretty scones. As they looked tasty and description made me think they are quite healthy I gave it a try. They turned out to be exactly as I imagined, crispy from the outside and soft inside with fresh flavour of citrus and cranberries.
This is how I made them:



1,5 cups wheat flour
1,4 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups oats (I used regular, but not instant)
10gr baking powder
pinch of salt
100gr butter or vegetable oil
1 cup liquid jogurt
apr.125gr sugar+ for the topping
candied orange peel (apr. 2,5 tb.s.)
dry cranberries- handful






Using food processor mix flour, butter, salt, sugar and baking powder. Then add citrus, berries, joghurt, oats and mix well.
You'll get crunchy dough, but it should be easy to form it.
Take round springform, grease it and press the dough in it. Than open the form, cut the dough into pieces and place each piece on baking paper. Sprinkle with sugar on top, if desired.
Oven 175-180C for 15-20 minutes.
