3-4 small aubergines (better thin)
some roasted sesame seeds
2 tb.s. sesame oil
2 tb.s light soy sauce
1 tb.s. rice venigar (I had apple)
1 tb.s. Shaoxing wine (or dry cooking wine)
1 tb.s. sesame paste
1 t.s. sugar
1 garlic clove (pressed)
Mix all ingredients for the dressing.
Place augergines in the steamer (I did not havem, so I put them into a sieve above large cooking pan with boiling water and in my case steaming took more than an hour.
Cool the aubergines, cut them into chunks and serve with the dressing and some parsley.
