I got here a real energy booster! Feel free to add dried fruit or some nuts...or even chocolate chunks for chocoholics. Or sub with oat flakes. I liked them like this.
2 cups (x250ml) rye flakes
half a cup wheat bran
2 tb.s. carob molasses
3 tb.s. pine honey
5g vanilla powdered sugar
4 egg whites
1 tb.s. peanut butter
Actually it's not a lot to instruct, just mix everything together and transfer onto lined with paper baking form.
Bake at 200C app. 20 minutes. Then cut into bars. For example at breakfaast you could pour some honey and milk over them to eat like cereal. Or possible to cover with melted bitter chocolate on top, as my daughter would definitely like it, to eat as a snack.
