Found some time ago in the internet and rediscovered yesterday again. I just think it's an interesting composition and it looks (and tastes for sure also) nice.
chicken parts (about 1 kg) no skin
150gr smoked sausage (for frying)
1 onion
2 carrots
thyme, salt, pepper
300gr flour
apr.220ml liquid joghurt
baking powder
salt, thyme, parsley and cheese for topping
First in a dutch oven fry the sausages for 2 minutes, remove, then add chicken parts, cook until golden and remove. Add some olive oil and place onion and carrots. After several minutes return the meat and sausage, pour about 1,5-2 glasses of water or chicken stock and heat up the oven 180C.
Cover the pan and set in the oven for 20 minutes.
Prepare the buns- mix flour, soda, salt and herbs with joghurt and make elastic dough. Roll several buns (walnut size).
Take the pan out of the oven, place buns on top and sprinkle with cheese. Turn the temperature to 230C, set uncovered for 10 minutes. After lower the temperature to 200C and wait another 15 minutes.
Serve.
