That's a variation of pizza, I guess originated in the USA... It is very easy to prepare and basically you can put inside whatever stuffing you want.
Pizza dough (make your own or use this recipe)
440 gr wheat flour
big t.s. salt
1t.s. yeast
60ml olive oil
390ml cold water
semolina for dusting and for adding, when necessary. This is basic recipe from Peter Reinhard, makes 2 giant or 3 normal pizzas.
Filling
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
broccoli (about 200gr)
mushrooms (about 200gr)
cooked chicken or sausage - optional
1 large tomato
1 green bell pepper
italian herbs
salt, pepper
olives
olive oil
mozzarella cheese
In a pan on olive oil cook onion, garlic, add mushrooms, then bell pepper, broccoli and after that tomatoes and olives. Season and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Roll the dough thin in rectangular shape. Sprinkle with olive oil. Wait until the filling is cool and then spread evenly on dough, cheese on top.
Roll the dough, put onto baking sheet (covered with some flour) and bake at 190C for 35-40 minutes.
Enjoy:)
