It was not very easy to make, mainly because of the quite liquid mousse, so it does not look as I wish it would. The taste is great though, very tender, reminds of chocolate ice cream.
You will need hight from/dish, apr. 1,5 liter.
40-50 ladyfingers
3/4 cup kirsch or liquer with cherry taste
230g chocolate
1/4 cup milk
40g butter
4 eggs, separated
10g vanilla sugar
150ml whipped cream
Butter the form and put baking paper on it's bottom.
Quickly put each ladyfinger into kirsch and then vertically into the form, covering it's walls.
Melt chocolate with milk, add egg yolks beat well and add butter.
Beat cream until it's quite firm and mix with chocolate, then add beaten egg whites.
Transfer the mixture into the form and place 2 layers of ladyfingers on top. Cover with plastic and put into freezer for several hours. Then invert charlotte into a plate to serve.
