A very tasty classical apple cake.
4-5 big sour apples
zest of 1 lemon
vanilla sugar 10g
cinnamon
lemon zest to taste
120g sugar
340g flour
2 beaten eggs
190g butter
Combine flour, butter, sugar, vanilla, eggs (save some for the top) and zest, cut with two knives and make a dough.
Cut each apple into 8 wedges, mix with some sugar and cinnamon, put in the fridge for an hour.
Grease and sprinkle with flour springform, put layer of dough (save 1/5 of the whole mass), creating flour and walls. Put apple on top and decorate with stripes of the saved dough.
Oven 200C, bake for 40-50 min.
