savory chicken and my blog...

I created this blog a couple of months ago to try if I can also make it:) Of course, it does not have a lot of traffic yet, and I myself am not yet disciplined enough to put my thoughts/experience together more regularly, but I hope it will come! Cause I would really enjoy interacting with people who think similar and like things I like.
I wrote about myself, that I like to cook, and this my hobby awakened not so long ago in me (though there where attempts much earlier), but now I have growing family and there is actually a need in making food:) Preferably good food.
I like to travel also and I try to remember or to catch tastes and flavours of the places where I go. After a trip I may do a little study in the internet about cuisine and some history. It's really very interesting, all Why's and How's .
Yesterday I tryed to make southafrican dish (one of the variety of dishes) and we liked it. So I will put it here as well:)

Savory chicken

chicken meat (any part) 500-600 g
2 garlic cloves
ginger 0,5 tea spoon
2-3 green chily pepers
mint
coriander
cocos flesh about 30 g
2 t.s. vegetable oil
cinnamon
curry
salt
2 t.s. butter

Make marinade out of first 8 ingridients. Leave chicken in the fridge for an hour.
Using butter start stewing onion and the rest of spices on a pan. In a couple of minutes add meat with all it's spices and cook until it's done (about 15-30 minutes, depending on the meat type). If it get's  dry, put some water in a pan.
Delicious!
