A very tasty bar with nuts and molasses.
340g (1 2/3 cups) oat flakes (toasted on frying pan)
handful hazelnuts +almonds (cut into different sized pieces) OR roasted chickpeas*!
40-50g butter or margarine
4 tb.s. molasses (mulberry)
3 full tb.s. pine honey
vanilla+cinamon
pinch of salt
In a small pan melt butter, molasses and honey, add spices and mix with toasted nuts (or chickpeas- to cut some calories*) and oats. Line 20/20cm baking tray with paper (overhanging), press mixture firmly, cover with paper on top and refrigirate for an hour at least. Now cut into bars and enjoy!
